The spiritual path is really a path of recovery. Recovery from a sick / dualistic / shame based / win-lose / top-dog / underdog society to a healthy / oneness / love-based / win-win / integrative society of the Spiritual / Christ / Buddha Mind. Because we live in such an awesome time on the planet we have the grand opportunity of living the fulfillment of the Redemptive Process which is what recovery truly is as we are in the process of recovering our Divine Identity all the way to the physical/Earthly plane. This is such an opportunistic time to make the thinking and feeling system of the Spiritual / Christ / Buddha / God/dess a reality on the planet because there are more tools, information and assistance at this time to recover from the negative ego / dualistic / win-lose / largely corrupted thinking and feeling system that has governed our planet for so long. Oneness with the All begins when we take emotional responsibility and quit playing the game of blaming self and blaming others!

The foundation of any spiritual path is honesty with self and honesty with others. If we are not being emotionally honest we cannot be free from the wounds of the past. Healing from emotional abuse and dysfunction in our lives comes when we take responsibility for our emotions and let other people be responsible for their emotions. We can’t take responsibility for our emotions when we are not aware of our wounded subconscious patterns of response. When we are not aware of our emotional responses and where we are responding form past hurts we will continually be victims to our thinking and feeling and the thinking and feelings of others. You are not making mistakes in life you are actually learning valuable lessons!

If you are on the spiritual path then you are learning how to process the choices you make as valuable lessons and not mistakes as there are no mistakes in life. If we interpret our choices in life from a lower self / dualistic / carnal perspective then we think we have made mistakes in life that we can never recover from and the guilt of some of our choices will swallow us if we let it. Yet, if we interpret our choices from a unified reality then we see that all choices we have ever made “good or bad” hold valuable lessons for us. Continue reading →

Live it, Love it, Be in it and not of it!

Being on the Spiritual Path does not mean that we reject or hold in contempt any aspect of our life lived here on Earth. We are not to retreat from being in the market place of life rather we are to embrace our life here on Earth. We do this by anchoring our highest spiritual values in our daily lives. In the beginning of our path we go through a process of ridding ourselves of our lower self desires so we can integrate our Higher Self Desires which means that we are to find joy in our everyday lives.
